Im not gonna tell him i like jumbo yorkies filled with a chicken curry. He might send me to the gallows.
Would never thought of trying that, although I used to make chicken curry toasted sandwiches using my toasted sandwich maker.
Anything that comes served in a circle, makes me just wanna roll it up and eat it like a wrap. I'd do that entire plate in two minutes.
Hangings too good for the likes of you lot who mix and match their dinners, no wonder the country has gone down the Brexit road (and that's a whole new thread so please dont go there). Where would this board be without cutting edge threads like this one?
That looks lovely apart from the broccoli. Evil ****ing stuff. Yorkshire puds are a must with any roast dinner.
Our lass has just said its alright you lot wanting YPs on Xmas day but think of the poor woman having to make them, she says there's enough pressure in the kitchen without adding unnecessary complications, bless her.
My mother usually does beef and turkey with the usual trimmings. INCLUDING Yorkshire puddings. This way I can sack off the dry as **** tasteless turkey and eat a proper meat.
I love a turkey Christmas dinner, never had to cook one myself mind. Maybe my mum's a cooking genius but the turkey's always succulent and delicious. Yorkshire puddings only go with beef dinners I reckon. I'm not militant about it but if someone made a roast chicken dinner and put Yorkshires out, as much as I like them I'd be thinking "wtf are those doing on there".
Yorkshire puddings all the way for me like. Think I would leave if anyone in my family suggested not having them.
Cook the turkey on xmas eve. Put streaky bacon over it & regularly baste it with the roasting tin juices. No way will it be dry if you cook it right. Spread some butter over the skin before you put the bacon on.
That is genius!! Have you tried anything else in there? I find Mars bars and egg (not together) work well in the old toasted sandwich maker
