I wouldn't insert the full crutch mate, albeit it sounds like she'd be able to accommodate a decent portion of it.
Very sad news on Saturday night. You've all heard me mention Baccy Dave. You may remember that a couple of years back, his wife to be got cancer and after a long period of chemo and radiation treatment, the tumour was small enough to operate on. She underwent a 12 hour operation (at 72 tears of age) and after another 5 months, was given the all clear. They then got married. Unfortunately, it returned earlier this year and this time, she was past fighting it. A wonderful, wonderful woman as well. RIP Barbara. I'll miss you and your wit.
Can't imagine ever losing my wife (I have to die first), must be terrible. Barbara and best wishes to Dave, I hope he can still find happiness in the years to come despite grief.
She was very like me in some ways, including disliking 95% of the people in the Cheese. A lady of great taste and a bloody good cook
