"By your logic they're xenophobic little Englanders"

Which was 50% right ;) as they were displaying xenophobia.

Which wasn't really why you posted it eh Sarge? Hence the reason you edited that bit out, but unfortunately for you, I chose to actually read the link.

Oh dear stumpy. Did you forget that the earlier quotes from before your wriggles are still there too. <doh> #20392

To make it worse, this wriggle of yours was to deflect from your **** up over the original discussion on banking. :emoticon-0105-wink:

And, as was said by a certain Mr Twain, 'Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience'!

So, in your case, I'm going to take his advice. Enjoy your evening talking bollocks and boring the arse off all and sundry.

Alternatively, you could consider trying to get what's called a life in that narrow minded, parochial ****hole you dwell in.

Only that claim was shot to pieces as well Wooden top, as non EU immigration won't increase post Brexit, as the Tories are committed to bringing immigration down to 10's of thousands within this parliament and are tightening the entry criteria - as was pointed out to you.

You got your arse handed to you on that issue as well, which serves you right for parroting the words of that fraud Farage.

This has been a bad day for you old boy.

That reply doesn't tackle the issue raised any more than your other bollocks did stumpy. <doh>

I notice you shifted this from a conversation on banks.

I can see why, given you've dodged pieguts maths reply, and given a choice between someone wanting immigration open equally to 100% of the world, and someone wanting to favour the nearest 7%, you say the 100%ers are xenophobic little Englanders. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    EDIT. As you've wriggled this all over Stumpy, the original point I made was;

"It's ridiculous to conflate immigration, which could be border controls, with 'little Englanders' and 'xenophobes'. "

Your effort at referring to a survey fails because they never mentioned either in their questions. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Anyway away from the deflection, waffle and complete bollocks of the boring UKIP voter from Hull

    Some actual Brexit news

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...mbership-article-127-article-50-a7468106.html

A fresh legal challenge for May, as the claim is that the Govt have no mandate to leave the single market, as they'd have to trigger article 127 of the Lisbon treaty and they have no mandate to do so, and would need Parliaments approval in order to do so - which they wouldn't get.

I'm assuming you mean the headline story?

I agree, it's shameful. It deflects from a report that brings up a lot of information that, if used correctly, can help lead to a more unified society in Britain. Ironically, it seems to put a lot of blame on the media.

it shouldn't be difficult to correct the website.

Mate, that "British Shop" is just round the corner from me. This story is utter bollocks. Some clueless mug (one of your relatives perhaps) opened a shop selling tourist crap 5 miles out from the West End. Consequently, no one ever goes in there, but the muppet owner, desperate for any publicity he can get, cooks up a spurious story about how he is being boycotted for being racist. He isn't, no one has accused him of being a racist, but no one in Muswell Hill wants to buy a teddy bear dressed as a Beefeater, or a pair of union jack socks. So his shop is empty, because he is selling crap nobody wants.

", according to the poll commissioned by Open Britain, a successor to the “Remain” campaign that’s now lobbying to soften the terms of the U.K.’s EU divorce."

YouGov surveyed 1,615 adults in Britain online on Dec. 5 and 6, including 690 “Leave” voters. Respondents were asked what was the maximum amount of money they personally would be willing to give up in order for the U.K. to leave the EU.

The poll found that 88 percent of “Leave” voters would vote for Brexit in a repeat of the referendum, while 92 percent of “Remain” voters would replicate their vote.

So no over all change really.

Probably not. But it's one of the few High Streets in London where more than half the shopkeepers are small independent traders, partly because it's a conservation area, and this puts some of the big chains off as they are unable to alter the Edwardian shop-fronts.
