A few pundits have said theat he should shut up and concentrate on his game other than coming out and giving some back. I disagree if pundits are going to have a go then expect people to respond. I have to say even though I understand that it's his job now Carra is getting on my tits having a go at him all the time, he's not helping by being so critical and therefore not helping us as a club as it may affect his confidence.
He is a professional colleague of Neville and feels he has to defend him. I can understand Karius giving it back. It must have been quite wounding to GN too but it would have worked better if he went on to have a good game. By having such a poor game, he brought the barb back to himself. Carra is right in that he is much better as a player to let his game do the talking. Now it only emphasises his deficiencies
Can't stand Carra - he seems to get quite personal with some players. He's turning into Mark Lawrenson now. Re. Karius - he needs to fix up and improve but I will happily accept more errors if it means he stays in the team and develops. We have to be patient. If he continues to struggle, and I mean over the next year or two, then we may have a case of binning. But the solution is to bring someone else in - NOT to bring Migs back. One thing I do want to mention is the goal keeping coach, John Achterberg who has been first team coach for a while. He came in around the same time as Reina's decline and since seen keepers regress. Should we be looking at his performance as a coach as well?
Problem with pundits, analysts whatever you want to call them, especially ex-pros, is they constantly have to try and prove and reassert their own relevancy since they're no longer actively part of the game and most of them probably wish they still were, so they end up saying outrageous and controversial things just to be noticed as they can't stand the fact that they're outdated and that the game is changing and they're slipping further and further behind the times and out of the spotlight. I'd much prefer it if Sky, MOTD got actual professional watchers of the game to do their analysis (proper writers or journalists who can form proper sentences and use English properly and create an argument, get across ideas etc etc) instead of barely sentient ex-pros most of whom are blinded by their own egos and actually reveal themselves to basically know **** all about the game even though they could play in their one position very well (depending on who the player is of course)

Unlucky Some guys IMO were desperately unlucky with injuries, some were just not that pushed and lived the high life, some were just not given the time or space but VERY FEW were actually all that good.
Carragher left us and went to SKY, when he should had stayed with us for another year and helped us wins the title. We are not going to buy it.
There's being honest and objective, and constantly pinning the blame and getting personal. Saying things like Karius is killing the side is OTT in my opinion. If he strongly feels that way, why not take a pop at Klopp for picking him?
Carragher slated Karius himself yesterday, so he's just being consistent. Neville didn't say anything that Carragher hadn't said already The lad should pipe down, and work on his game. He looks like a rabbit in the headlights.
One was a free kick which has to be saved. Second one he's in no mans land and the ball trickles past him. End of the day our team have scored 5 goals in two games and we haven't won either, yes the defence needs to be looked at but he isn't doing his job.
I never like to see a keeper's starting point at one extreme or another when facing a central free kick. I think he wanted to see the ball, as a lot of keepers do. That's asking for trouble against a free kick specialist like Payet. The second goal......I really don't know what else he could have done as the defence was exposed by the deflection. He can't stay in goal, he has to try to close the angle
We can give all sorts of specific reasons why he didn't actually keep the ball out. But it was his decision to stand where he stood. I saw a free kick by Eriksen in exactly the same position against DeGea yesterday and he kicked it in the same spot and DeGea saved it with a strong hand. I remember thinking that Karius would have struggled against such a shot. Top GKs should save these kinds of shots. Yes, they'll be done by some very good shots but not ordinary savable ones.
dodgy keepers with attitudes attain cult hero status. Either a dodgy moustache, a nutty mentality (lehmann) or classic joggers like kiraly. Not a crap keeper who looks like he spends more time styling his hair than trying to be a better keeper
