Yes, I get that, but making it more difficult for EU nationals to come here doesn't make it easier for non-EU nationals to do so. The percentages would change but I don't see why the absolute number of non-EU immigrants would rise given what you've been talking about.

And yet the non-EU people feel it is. Commonwealth Countries are happy because the EU was damaging them with measures like the CAP, that generates a surplus, which is then used in their Countries and impacting on their markets and production.

The idea that leaving the EU and placing restrictions on EU immigration will somehow increase non EU immigration is fanciful bollocks. It's not going to happen!...

The only people I've accused of being racist, have either admitted to it or have made posts that clearly demonstrate it.

Your point is confused and nonsensical, as you've already admitted that immigration was a prime factor, I'm saying it was the deciding factor and without it Brexit would never have happened. You're merely being argumentative for the sake of it after burying yourself in a daft trench.

It creates an opportunity to even out the balance. We can make it more attractive for people holding skills we need for one.

In your opinion. With your record, you predicting that, suggests there's more than a fair chance it will.

You're going off on a tangent.

The simple fact is, that post Brexit under the Tories, there won't be an increase in the opportunity to come to this country for non EU citizens. Farage hung his hat on that angle knowing that it wouldn't happen, much as you are.

If we lacked a certain skill we could have done things to attract people with that skill regardless. Again you talk about equal opportunities but none of it logically ends with more non-EU immigration as far as I can see, just a higher percentage of a smaller number.

A tangent? :emoticon-0102-bigsm You dragged it here from a post I made about banks. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It's not a fact, it's just your opinion.

We tried that, I posted an article some time ago about 3,000 non-EU nurses being turned away, as there is a finite number of total immigrants that can be supported.

Some argued that the UK determined that number, but it was based on estimates on the numbers of EU migrants, which turned out to be far more than was assumed.

I've noticed you start asking for people to go away when your 'facts' are shown for being simply your opinion.

This is where we will disagree, prime factor for 6 million absolutely, deciding factor, sorry no.
Provide the proof and I will concede. At the moment I seem to be the only one who understands basic maths, where 17 is greater than 6.

I have provided you with evidence and good reason to show that it's highly unlikely that immigration from Southern Asia will increase. Your original assertion.

You have, as usual, provided nothing of any substance to indicate otherwise.

You're Full of wind and piss, as per!....

On this and other occasions, I've posted the considered views of those directly affected, you've posted your personal opinion on why you know better than them.

It's the current system, and it demonstrates it's currently divisive. It doesn't prove there'll be less non-EU immigration in the future.

So repeating your position is deflectory?

It looks like there's another on the list of misunderstood words on here. :emoticon-0105-wink:
