Man-sized bet on Sub Lieutenant in the John Durkan ..................... doubling him with Douvan for the price boost. No risk, no fun <ok>

Captain Redbeard 16/1 -Stuart coltherd reckons this is the best horse he's had -*obviously still learning the game but third chase start in this easier company and a track he's won at --a sporting each way bet for me

Spotted this on Sporting Life and have grabbed a bit of 9/2 which is disappearing fast:

"Moving on to Punchestown, one horse that jumps off the page immediately is Line Out in the concluding bumper.

Owned and bred by the exors of the late Alan Lillingston, and a full brother to their dual flat Listed winner Toe The Line, he is the first ride back for Derek O'Connor following his elbow injury in October.

Not only that but the Lillingston's sponsor the earlier Beginners Chase on the card in memory of Alan and there is no better man than John Kiely to lay one out for the right day.

If Line Out has inherited half the ability of his full-sister, he should be well up to the task and while it is difficult to support bumper horses on debut with much confidence, taking the early price of 5/1 on Line Out is recommended in this instance.
"

Oddy, the full brother TOE THE LINE actually runs earlier on the card (12.55) and looks to have a super chance on form! Also getting heavily punted.

Could be a nice sister-brother double act today <ok>

Smart card - what's your take on the John Durkan? I'm on Sub Lieutenant but very fearful of Djakadam

I've backed Djakadam at 6/4 mate. Gold Cup form against second season chaser form, I'd be very surprised should they prove better than him. I'd hope he's fit enough, but with Ruby here I'd have to assume he is. Cracking maiden hurdle and begineers chase too.

The one I like today is Cyclop. He has been consistent this season and I thought the run last time out showed that he is capable from this mark. They should go a good pace today and I think he will be able to sit midfield and then pick up the pieces.

Keeping it nice and simple today-Djakadam/Listen Dear dbl 9/4-I expect both to win. I do like American Tom but Woodland Opera is a big danger so happy to watch that one play out.

You're actually making it extremely difficult ste. Oddy has the John Durkan winner in Sub Lieutenant...American Tom will be pulled up today and Rathnure Rebel wins by about 9 lengths.

Have a good Sunday.

Was on @ 6/1 Oddy. Meself and Beefy have been in deep conversation behind the scenes re this one. Serious animal. Couldn't believe the price this morning.

And in fairness, it was BOS who made me aware of this lads ability.
