Puel definitely doesn't seem to be a fan of Long. Not sure about Rodriguez (he wasn't great leading the line even before his injury) but Tadic and Boufal in the same side could be very interesting.
Long must wonder what he needs to do to start a PL game. I think we will win IF jeep gets forward as often as possible. I think we will lose if he sits in the middle and takes no risks
Have to say, i agree with Puel dropping Redmond. He was bobbins midweek and needs to learn his place. As aforementioned Tadic and Boufal in the same team could be great fun, think its a shame they arent playing either side of Charlie Austin, seems like the ideal setup really. Personally would have gone for Long today over Rodriguez, there is no one i want to see score more than Shane Long. Think if he can break his duck he could return to his former self (Who was bloody fantastic). Conversely, as much as I like Jay, i don't think he will ever get back to his former self. I think its time to let go in January and find a new out and out striker.
