Well, they were both leaving in the summer and were unlikely to play for us again. This gives them the chance to train with clubs and hopefully find a new one ahead of the new season. Makes sense all round. Thanks for the efforts guys, all the best for the future. EDIT: Missed that Fazlic had signed a deal already. Certainly the right move for him!
Right move to get rid but thought we could have gotten a bit of money for Zverotic. Adil Chihi must be very nervous right about now.
Over the seasons Fulham seem to buy players who never play, is this some sort of Tax dodge? It seems to happen so often, it seemed to start under MAF ?
Would be interesting to know how much we've payed out in wages to these non-starters. There are a few more floating around needing to be flushed.
In fairness I think this happens at most clubs. We only notice the Fulham ones because we follow Fulham and don't notice the other teams one because, well they never play.
His contract was up in the summer (it was a two year deal), so once the window closed he had no resale value.
