Man the stands men and women of the South Wales Borders a wave of 1,000's of Brummie tribes have been spotted congregating in the distance. The Osborne's,Carrot's,Henry's,Oddie's and Holder tribes are uniting for an assault on the capitals fortress New Ninian.Man the biscuit box walls to repel these invading forces and send them home disconsolate.

Front ranks, mid ranks and rear ranks prepare to sing your hearts out throughout this latest Anglo Welsh battle. There could be medals coming our teams way quite soon.

    Classic ITIWRAN.

We could probably use a round or two of rapid fire to stop Burkie.

The plan is to stand behind a few feet of mealie bags and wait for the attack by the looks of things. <laugh>

    With bayonets drawn I assume?

Will the back four need any special training like charging at straw filled dummies strung from lamposts?

Burkie won't like it up him!!! <whistle>

Agreed Burkie's going to be a real problem. Our rear ranks will have to be on their toes on Sunday with Billy Whizz ripping up the flanks.Let's hope it rains and his shirt doubles his weight.

Looks like a no nonsense ref for the game.Anthony Taylor boasts 32 yellows and 5 reds in 11 games this season.

I also think a rejected Mr.Hughton may also have a point to prove to certain onlookers.

hope you dont mean the the 24th Regiment of Foot that is described as a Welsh regiment: in fact, although based in Brecon in south Wales, its designation was the 24th (The 2nd Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot. It did not become the South Wales Borderers until 1881. Of the soldiers present at Rorkes Drift, 49 were English, 32 Welsh, 16 Irish and 22 others of indeterminate nationality however great film. good luck tonight

Clingo, I'm back working in Cheltenham for a while, I'll join you in the trenches!

I expect to hear Men of Harlech on at least 2 Tuesday evenings in January.

6 games in Jan and 5 in Feb, looks daunting!

Sounds a bit Blazing Sadles that Clingo. When attacked by Injuns they circled the waggons. Unfortunately they only had one waggon.

    Not shopping today then Sparkey?

I just hope that we're on form and don't play like we're running through quicksand.

I was going to include a quote or two around that but would probably get banned. In these PC days, I wonder if this film would ever have made it onto the screens.

This could be us if we get past Palace.

Reverend Johnson: [praying] O Lord, do we have the strength to carry off this mighty task in one night? Or are we just jerking off?
    Townspeople: Amen.
