    I for one have never questioned Nige's signings as he's our manager, back that up with his past signings of centre backs, Brown & Hobbs in his first stint with us, then Hobbs (again) & Chester & Hull & finally Wes Morgan during this tenure, then add to the mix he was also a good solid C/B himself, the proof is in the proverbial pudding me thinks !
    Even OLM & the Hull City posse must agree on this ? Which is the reason why I support NP over the sale of Bamba & Mills !

    Weale and Berner was both injury prone before we signed them. They wasnt too bad with injuries here. Hardly any

    Whitbread is a very good CB, especially if injuries can stay away. Was hoping at one point leeds would be in for him. I'd still take SSL at leeds though

    I can see that happening - if you can afford him that is as.

    He fell out with NP last season and even though he made it back in the team, he gave what sounded to me a farewell speech after the last game of the season (which incidentally was against you when we won in the last minute :grin:).

    Kinda surprised Ipswich haven't come back for him.

    St. Ledger leaving wouldnt surprise me

    With the signing a Whitbread and Nigel in the markwt for another defender its possible he would sell Ledge. But i think he would only sell if we could get Chester
