I think the police may have thought that if we had clinched promotion (well, almost clinched to all the mathematicians out there) there would have been a pitch invasion. On top of that it was Brentford's last home game of the season and their players were doing a lap of honour, but from what I could see most of the home fans had already gone home. I do agree though, there were almost more police than Brentford fans.
Nice touch from the female police officer in front of us who clapped us when they realised that no one was going to try and get on in numbers
I understand that it was the police that refused to let us have more tickets and I assumed they didn't have enough men to police it properly, because I think there was some big event in London on Friday! However, there's masses of them. What have they heard about us? We must be the most peaceful (though lovely and noisy) fans around. Great videos.
