Okay all, I'm curious to see what people would actually do if they were the boss teamwise.

    I'd go.....

    Gherkin

    Parr/ Chambers/ Berra/ Mings

    Anderson / Hyam / Bishop / Henshall

    McG / Murphy

Only slight concern for me is defensively I don't think Mings is too good at times and would they get overrun down that flank if we were losing? That said, from an attacking perspective we could cause chaos to the other teams right sided players!

This would also be my pick on players that are available, only difference maybe the inclusion of Stewart at the cost of either of the wingers once fit and if performing!

    Ok, my backup would be

    Gerks

    Parr
    Chambers
    Berra
    Mings

    Stewart
    Hyam
    Bish
    Henshall

    Dids
    Murphy

With our defense, we only need one defensive midfielder

    Gerken

    Parr Chambers Berra Mings

    Anderson Hyam Bishop Tabb

    McGoldrick Murphy.

I'd look to replace Anderson with Stewart though if fit and performing.

Why Tabb as a l midfielder? He offers nothing going forward and is far too slow for a wide midfielder!!

Its a difficult question as wide right there is no-one that really shouts out currently

Strike force and back 5 as per last nights start
Midfield of Henshall - Hyam - Bishop - Ambrose

I think I'll go with the team set out by either TB or Spanish.
Our back four are solid and look more balanced now, not sure if Billy is any better than Gerken so I'll stick with pickle boy for now.
A midfield that will keep the other team on the back foot.
Our strike partnership up front and job's a good'un.

I'm gonna go for something abit different 532:

    Gerks,
    Hewitt, Chambers, Smith, Berra, Mings
Bishop, Hyam, Wordsworth (bring him back)
    Murphy, McGoldrick

I think this would be a fairly balanced team with 2 attacking fullbacks. I have to say I'm still not 100% convinced by Mings maybe given time he can be a great LB but sometimes to me he still looks like he's got alot of enthusiasm perhaps too much and he might get caught out, I think in a 442 I'd play Parr over him currently but then with that i'd play more attacking wingers. I'm not a big big fan of Wordsworth but think he can bring a nice balance to our team and certainly has a goal in him, think that midfield 3 has a nice blend of qualities in it and it means we don't have to play ineffective wingers. I do like the look of Henshall but I can't see him getting a good run in the team, he's probably at the moment too attack minded

I'm still not convinced by Gerks, he made a couple of good saves the other night but then his distribution was sometimes very poor. I think it says alot for Mick about how players can look half decent and show decent form if you support them and play them over a long period of time, i just wish he'd do the same with some of the more talented players.

I thought he worked well with Mings on the left the other night... Covered well for Mings when he pushed forward. Also he works hard.

I hear what you're saying though, he's not the fastest lad.
