Mine would be a nissan micra. Biggest mistake of my life. Had to get rid of my 207 sports as the wife had a crash and left it with a lot of damage so not having the money to repair it was cheaper to trade it in for this small second hand micra in excellent condition and low millage.
Day after we bought it we found out we were expecting so was not practical and within a week the glass in the wing mirror fell out and 2 tires needed replacment so got rid of it within 6 months as seemed jinxed

The only good thing about that micra was the number plate as it was SH**FKR so easy to remember

Citroen Picasso-Like a bus.Had it 3 years, from new, a week or so after the warrant ran out, it broke down in Scotland, on New years day, 500 miles from home. Turned out to be a broken timing chain an £1,000 bill. Biggest heap of sh*te I ever had. Best was probably my first car, a Mark 2 Cortina. Dead basic but could do all the repairs myself. Loved that car. NHY 756F can even remember the reg. No!

Same thing as you Hawk, needed a car whilst waiting for payout so had a Vauxhall Belmont for 6 weeks which cost me £200 - absolute ****ing pig of a car, the drivers window dropped if you went over 30mph and about the only good thing about it was that it started first time...

Couldn't wait to get rid of it....

Choke out fully to start, then had to use this instead of the accelerator. Tried to overtake a lorry on the M18 (2 lanes only) and managed to get alongside him, only for him to speed up a couple of mph. I could not go any faster, and cars began to build up behind me. Eventually I had to slow down and drop back behind the lorry. All of the cars that had slowed down with me then sped past giving me the ****er sign.
Embarrassing pile of sky blue ****e.

2 in particular spring to mind..

My first disaster and my first ever vehicle was a MK1 Ford Escort Van (1.3) 1974. It was only 3 years old when I got it, and was low mileage, but it was forever breaking down in the middle of the countryside when I was courting.

The other 'pig' was a Citroen CX 2.2 (1976) which was the most comfortable ride of any car ever, but was even less reliable than the van, and was very hugely expensive to repair. The drivers seat literally fell to pieces when the backrest mechanism failed....good build quality...not !!

Mid-blue Hillman Avenger estate - absolute crap!

In the mid-80's had just got married and bought a house (in Horfield!?). Wife had a company car so I just needed a runabout and paid £150 for this car. For no apparent reason I would be driving along and the thing would just stop - leave it half an hour and try it again - no problem. Went through the whole ignition system including the distributor/points (for you young 'uns - ask your dad) never got to the bottom of it,

Only car I ever made money out of though. New Years eve 1985 some drunken old RAF type twat with handlebar moustache and blazer went into the back of me. Almost had a fight trying to keep him there for the police to nick. Amazingly, it still drove, but when the insurance assessor came to look at it, his first comment was "bit of a dog isn't it?" They gave me £175 PLUS the car that I then sold on for £75.

showing my age. Austin 1300 GT red with a black vinyl roof. Quite quick in its day.......when it actually started. Had lumps of the casing around the starter motor missing which meant I had to take it off every few days to clean the starter motor. Joy! Used to do all my own maintenance, Nowadays I dare not even lift the bonnet on my TT sport.

Ah...the days of fixing your own car eh raver?
My first was a mk3 Cortina......1 car and 3 engines over 3 years. I changed the origional 1600 engine for a 2 litre that died then another 2 litre after that. You could sit on the wings and dangle your feet inside the engine bay as you worked on it. You can't get a fag paper inside modern cars and all you can touch are the dipstick and washer bottle!

Well I've had 4 cars and 3 have been scrapped <laugh> Latest one was 2 days ago :(

but my worst car...... Probably my 3rd one Ford Fiesta 1.1, Nothing but trouble from day 1. Got it and the handbrake was **** so couldn't stay on hills, 2 weeks later the clutch snapped, Finally got it repaired in time for a MOT which it failed down to brakes and my chassis would need replacing! so I had 2 weeks until the MOT ran out, I had to have something done to the wheel but I lost the wheel nut so he had to ruin my alloys to get them off, Then about 2 weeks later I drove around a corner and my front passenger wheel came flying off and we skided about 2-3 feet with the wheel (thankfully) Bouncing into a hedge. Then the next day I had it towed away and scrapped

    Here it is
