Courtois missing is a big blow. Luckily we have a top class back-up.

Barkley is hardly going to be able to pull the strings in what will be a congested MF tomorrow. I think the game will be won by the wide players FB's and wide forwards....Hazzard is sue a good game and my fear is it will be tomorrow. One thing is for certain, the atmosphere will be nasty!

Yep, it'll be nasty alright. I hope Hazard has a good game as, like you say, he is due one. It'll be a close and hard fought game. It'll be one goal either way IMO.

I hope Costa is not playing. We seem more intent on giving him a kick than keeping him out of the game, IF I were a betting man then I would have him down for the winner!

I would prefer it to be a reversed scoreline. Would be nice to see how we can isolate Terry against Lukaku....we may even see him deployed on the right to get a good run at the back four as have been done in the past at home.

wtf - when you think it cannot get worse than Jose's self destruction - Thibo bangs his knee in training????

Surely GK is the position you are best covered in? Begovic is a very good keeper. We've had to stomach Romero as our back up while DDG was using Madrid to get himself a new contract at United!

I don't think Courtois being out will make any difference to you. He may be a more talented keeper but Begovic's greater experience at this stage puts him on a par.

Yeah Begovic is decent enough, no reason to think this will hamper us a great deal tbh.
There are several other reasons that we may implode, but I dont see this as one of them.

I still don't understand why most think we might implode or imploded already.

This is Jose's self destruction. As long as he stops that - we will walk few games.

Because it could quite easily come to a head.
We saw what happened when AVB was on a self destruct path.
The team imploded and he lost the respect of the players.
Jose is infinitely more respected at our club than AVB was, so it may take longer, but if he doesnt sort it out.....

AvB was clueless. Jose isn't. He knows exactly what he does.
Won't be surprised if he replaces Rafa already at Real. bottomline, he is on to something.

    Everton game would answer that.

No jose isn't clueless, but he certainly doesn't appear to be clued up at the moment either.
Attacking our medical staff for one.

I very much doubt that Jose will ever be welcomed back at Real! The difference between him going back to Real and going back to Chelsea is that you lot always loved him, the Real fans despise him!

not literally - he will be back at Real.
But more or less he is playing as if he cannot wait to quit.

Main concern with the GK is whether Begovic gets an injury or suspension now. Much like a few years ago when suddenly Hilario got a load of games off of Cech and Cudicini injuries in the same game.

Jose is still and will always be the Special one.
Just that this season, he is up to something else. Family problems - I don't understand.
His understudies would have / should have supported him with on field work.

Everton game will answer some of it, if not all of it.

That's why I asked who the back up is. It is vey unusual for a keeper to get injured or suspended so shouldn't be too much of a worry but I had no idea who was next in line after Begovic.
