I used to live in Decatur, Dekalb County, just outside Atlanta. Absolutely loved it. Very friendly people.
Off to Bulgaria in July and back in August. Love the place and at less than 50p a pint and footie tops ( good quality ) at under £20 What more could I ask for.
Where in Bulgaria are you going and what is there to do there, other than get pissed for less than a tenner of course? Never been before.
Plan to be spending the first few hours in gran Canaria scoring weed before a rather mundane holiday int sun with missus. I wanted somewhere better but in a hostel. She was having none of that, ****ing princess
Would love to if poss. Only thing being is when on Tyneside I have very little free time because of family stuffs. But if I can sneak one in (ooo-err misus) I would love to.
Only time I spent in the Atlanta area was in the airport... which is more or less inevitable for anyone who lives on the east coast for a while... but the coast down there is amazing. Savannah and, further north in South Carolina, Charleston are great little cities; especially if you are into food.
There were no Newcastle supporters at my college when I arrived, but there were two by the time I left after getting them hooked to watching Saturday morning football. I don't really know about any night life stuff as it was 20+ years ago that I lived there and most of our socialising was done at the college. There is plenty to do around Atlanta though. If you're into history then there's all the civil war stuff and also the Martin Luther King center. Stone Mountain is a pretty cool place to visit too. If you get a chance get to a Braves game too. Even if you don't like baseball it's a good experience to have had. I was there when they won the World Series in 95 and it was amazing. But don't just stick to Atlanta. Flights and car hire are cheap and there is loads to see throughout the South East.
Wow, Jesus would have been proud of you. With a conversion rate similar to yours there would have been about 56 Catholics in the World by now.
Jesus would also have been proud of you for being kind hearted enough to read Nev's post. I saw the length of the post and the author's name and thought "nah, fook that".
