... there have been many individual moments of footballing excellence but one that sticks in my mind was his overall contribution away at Spurs ... his movement on and off the ball were superb, he was virtually unplayable ... remember thinking then for the first time that Liverpool just might be serious title contenders ...

As I said before ... the postings on here are likely to say more about the posters than the footballing ability of Suarez - it would of course be easy to put together similar video clips of such club 'legends' as Ron Harris at Chelsea, Billy Bremner and Norman Hunter at Leeds, Roy Keane at United, Pat van den Hawe / Dave McKay at Spurs, Peter Storey / Patrick Viera at Arsenal. Jimmy Case / Tommy Smith at Liverpool ... the list is endless ... one man's club legend is another man's vilified hate figure ...

Spurs fans will point to Klinsman as a wonderful skilful player and club legend ... when I think back about him, whilst undoubtedly a fabulous player by memory 'playback' is invariably of the all to frequent no contact, thrown back leg, pike and swallow dive ... or to put it more succinctly, 'cheating' ... and Arjen Robben is the new kid on the block ... fabulously talented but can have you grimacing in embarrassment at some of his more theatrical episodes...

He arrived at Spurs with that reputation (deserved) but he didn't do it with us, and famously made fun of it with his goal celebration

    I agree with you FF.

That was one of my favourite games of last season as a neutral.

To see Psurs, the team Chelsea fans hate most, be that humiliated at home along with AVB, was brilliant

Spursdiciple, did he get a red card in that last video clip, which I assume was when he was playing for Ajax. That has to be one of the worst fouls ever, and pre meditated too
