Make a team of 11 with 5 subs and manager.

You can pick any player from your team you support from any year, not just the prem era.

(working on mine, will add later)

I'll stick to the years I've been a fan, so 1994 or so onwards.

    ----------------Reina-----------------

    Arbeloa - Carragher - Hypia - Riise

    -----------Alonso Hamann----------

    Gerrard---------------------- Suarez

    -----------Fowler-Torres-------------

One thing that seems quite evident to me is that we've had quality players consitantly in certain positions (CB, DM, ST) but have been unable to address positions like LW, RW with the exception of Macca (who I've harshly cut) which is why my formation seems a little odd.

    5 subs:

    Westerweld
    Henchoz
    Macherano
    Kuyt
    Mcmannaman

    Manager - Rafa

    ---------------Clemence-----------------

    Neal-----Carragher-Hansen------Kennedy

    ---------Mascherano--Alonso------------

    Gerrard----------Suarez----------Barnes

    -----------Dalglish----Rush-------------

Subs - Reina Hyppia Nicol Souness Fowler

    Manager - Shankly

Well carricks been instrumental in a serious amount of success with us. Ive gone 433 so carrick is the lynch pin. Hes looked good with ****e alongside him so imagine keane and scholes ahead of him.

Di maria. Well yes, a strange one but based on what i know about him and the fact his quality is universally known to all. I put giggs originally but that means 442 and i didnt want ronaldo on the right wing.

Plus, di maria is going to be a legend anyway.

Hate this question, Cantona and Bergkamp couldn't play in the same team. I've never been able to choose between them so I abstain as always.

Or does they all have to be from your own team?

He has but hes helped lift the club massively in that time.

I could quite easily question suarez inclusion in yours and bows teams. After all he did nothing and helped you achieve nothing. Before you mention goals, i will just drop berbatovs goals into the equation....

Di maria has almost played as many games for us as suarez did at liverpool. <whistle>

Cantona was in and out of my side as it took a while. I gave up in the end. De gea missed out and hes a massive fan favourite just now.

Could easily do 3 or 4 squads with different players in each.

If you did you'd be a fool <ok>

Berba was a cog in a good team, Suarez scored buckets, made goals, tracked back, lifted the entire team - setting records for us.

Quite simply he's there because he was that good for us.

Mine are chosen on merit/quality of the individual and their performances for the club.

In the past 20 years we've not had an all round striker as good as him.

    Simple as that.

Torres was better and more consistent. So you have.

You included suarez as you know hes quality. Had he spwnt just a season there he would be in the squad too. Same with di maria.

Like i said though. I could make 4 sides easily and probably more. I just gave up and stuck ole as my last sub.

Looking at it again surely Cantona and Giggs have to be in there?

As much as I hate it Cantona was brilliant.

Rooney is on course to be our record scorer. Not sure why people seem to think hes anything other than a club legend.

Robson while brilliant was on a downward spiral when i was younger. Carricks been apart of the most successful side in united history. Keane is better than robson anyway so it was between tge two and keane wins. Best midfielder in the premier leagues history.

Giggs was a left winger. I have no wingers in my side. Its balanced and includes players ive seen only.

So its hardly shocking is it. Tge only glaring ommission was king eric.

In your opinion. I happen to think Suarez is the better all round forward.

Torres was an out and out striker where as Suarez had a lot more to his all round game - and I included both anyway!

I maintain you would be mad not to include him.

I did not question your inclusion of Di Maria btw, although that is infinitely more questionable than me picking Suarez.
