Young footballers abused by coaches discussion thread

Beefy, is this of relevance because people had come forward about both clubs yet the police haven't been in contact, or more saying they are in the clear and not the clubs involved?

I used to belong to a youth club and have only just remembered one lad getting pestered by the chap running it....even climbed into his bedroom window when he left the club and wouldn't answer calls. Later, he joined the army to get away from him. I realise now that the man was as mad as a box of frogs and possibly dangerous. No one did anything as I remember. More common than we would like to think.
