This one ought to be x-rated Unsuitable for all weak hearts, Where losers will feel most vexated While winners will move up the charts And tomorrow, our lot especially Have to be fired up to the boil, Or Wednesday who, surprisingly, freshly Have lost two, will be out to spoil This isn´t one where we start slowly And give them a nice cushion lead, For Wednesday aren´t one of the lowly Who´ll let us back in for a feed Nought-nought when we met back in autumn Which might for them, just be okay, But for us, I hope it has taught ´em Just how to beat them on the day And if our away form should brighten Before this season runs to ground, Then a win here would certainly heighten Belief, that a solution we´ve found.
Have to say, Dave, not entirely, no ! - at least when talking of the result, the scoreline I must admit, was a bit of a shock, considering just how big a game this was for us. Season over, I think.
