Honey G 25/1 to be the next eliminated. She probably won't be but as soon as she is in the bottom 2, she's out. So at 25/1 has to be worth £1. Double up until she's gone

Now 4/1 w/o Matt Terry. Another £100 at those odds

Matt Terry doesn't seem to be improving so:

as I have £400 at 9/4 and he is now 5/6 I can afford to lay him off £600 to lose £500

So on him alone. If he wins I win £900 and lose £500 - Profit £400
    If he loses I lose £400 and win £600 - Profit £200

I stopped watching it after Lucy Spraggan left due to illness in... 2013 I think. I knew after that point, the X-Factor had peaked and no-one could ever match her.

After last night (just watched it) Matt was clear winner and 5AM shoud be in the final with him. Saara will have to do much better than that to win. Can't understand why she was odds on after last week. Matt now odds on.

So which singer/band who can't sing will win and have a pop career lasting all of a few generic, insipid singles and an album?

Not what one would call a vintage year is it PL. Leona Lewwis, James Arthur, One Direction and Little Mix are the only ones I recall from X Factor. Oh and, what's her name,.............................................. It'll come to me

JLS and Olly Murs have done okay. I don't know who that person you were thinking of. James Arthur was just awful.

I wouldn't mind the X-Factor so much if it wasn't so gimmicky. The pantomime performance between the judges, the predictable song choices, the obligatory joke act every year, all the joke auditions... Plus many of them aren't great singers and there's nothing unique about them, like that Emily Middlemas was just a much worse Ellie Goulding. the winner's singles are nearly always atrocious with the cheesy and OTT choral bit towards the end (saying that I do like Alexandra Burke's version of Hallelujah, at least up until the choral bit at the end)
