In response to a recent posting by Thanks for that, Brian elsewhere, and in memory of our old favourite Saido Berahino, I thought it would be interesting to see who the clan thinks will be the player this summer that Levy will do his usual stuff and try and wear a club down to selling at a laughable price. Feel free to recommend players Spurs are allegedly in for this summer.
Barkley. Think we'll end up getting him for about £25m after Everton are beaten down from £50m once they realise no one will pay that for him. To be fair to Levy with regards to Berahino, we offered a great deal to WBA (£25m), he went for less than half of what we offered when Stoke signed him. Peace ****ed up.
And his drugs ban got leaked, too. I suspect that we don't know everything that went on there, honestly. Shambles. Barkley seems like the obvious one, so I'm going to go for Sessegnon, instead. We don't need him right now, though we definitely should sign him anyway, so Levy will drag his heels. Other clubs will come in, the player and club will get pissed off and it'll drag all summer. Or I'll be happy to be wrong!
