Bravo has to be the worst signing of this season. Pogba and Sissoka have been failures in terms of value for money, in that their clubs (over)paid a fortune for both players and they have been mediocre. But I wouldn't say they have been actively detrimental to the teams performances, in pogba's case, I think he has started to improve as the season goes on, and will probably end up being a decent player. Bravo......on the other hand.....his stats speak for themselves. He has failed to make a save in like 3 months and I heard somewhere that the last 7 or 8 shots on target he has faced have resulted in goals....the guy just cannot save for ****....given this is the primary role of a goalkeeper, there is no doubt in my mind that he wins the award for worst signing of the season. When he abjectly fails at the fundamentals of goalkeeping.............look no further, worst signing of the season.
On Paul Pogba, his transfer reminds me a lot of Cristiano Ronaldo when he went to Real Madrid, a lot of people were saying he cost too much etc, but now look at that fee, It's a bargain and I believe Paul Pogba will go down the same road as well, He will prove his doubters wrong in my opinion.
United didn't smash the world record fee for Ronaldo tho Matth, and Ronaldo was like 18 or something when he joined United. Very much a work in progress. If you pay nearly £90m for someone, you expect the finished article. Someone who will hit the ground running, like what Real got when they bought Ronaldo from you guys. There is no doubt he has failed to live up to the expectation, but he has shown enough for me to show that he will likely come good, under the right guidance and with patience. Maybe not £90m worth of good, but hey....it was a silly price to pay in the first place.
Come off it, Skids! Granit is the worst signing this season. It's a stone-wall certainty. The fact that you're having a pop at me for saying so only goes to demonstrate the extent to which you are bricking it.
I raise you Ali Dia You don't hate to say it you lying tosser Me and Piskie were talking on their match thread the other night about what a steal he was. Brilliant player, arguably the best at what he does in the league... still think there's plenty of improvement to come too
The difference being that when Ronaldo went to Real, he was a proven quantity. Oh, & Real hadn't previously let him go for buttons, thereby making themselves look both desperate and clueless when re-signing him for a club record fee
I wanted us to sign Xhaka so he could play next to Can in midfield. Glad we didn't, he deserves to be slated he's ****.
To be fair to Arsenal, I'm not sure that when Wenger was looking at Granit there was any better quarry for him to consider, mate.
