    Simple with me

    Apprenticeship at the Cleveland Bridge as a welding technician in Darlo
    Went to work in Germany for 3 years
    Got graded in the BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photographers) in 1982
    Ran Photolabs in Darlo and Burgess hill for Bollams in Sussex
    Worked in senior management in pro labs in Scotland
    various creative design posts around the NE for many years
    Now, brought my daughter up from a baby and a rock for my lady 24/7 for the last 8 years..

    I could have said that I was an Electronic Fusion Engineer, but Welder seemed easier <laugh>

    I spent a lot of time down that way mate, mainly Seal Sands and I did a hell of a lot of testing at that training centre for Amec & UK Construction. I also did far too much pipework at Phillips Petroleum & Enron. Some great memories from those jobs though mate.

    I worked down Seal sands, Whessoe dock point, Monsanto, Wilton on the wonderful Adipic acid plant.
    Did half a day in Lackenby steel works. Looked like Chi Chi the f*cking panda when I took my goggles off. Told the boss I was f*cking off and not working there again. Sacked me on the spot.
