Chris Wood scored for New Zealand last night against Fiji in a two nil win. Moves them closer to World Cup qualification. Well done to the lad, seems he can do no wrong <ok>

How the feck do these countries even get the chance to qualify for the wc.
    That second goal!
Weeds growing all over the pitch and 25 people watching.
    Farce.

Morning all. He really can do no wrong in my eyes. Was waiting on that result for a 224 quid acca. Knew I could rely on our boy

Every country should have a chance of getting to the World Cup. The name of the competition gives it away. It's not called Almost the World Cup.

Think New Zealand are already through, so Chris Wood might as well come back early, rather than waste time with the return fixture on Tuesday.

If it were England might do better <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Mind you, Australia only just got away with a 1-1 draw with Iraq.

Don't the top 2 teams have to play 2 teams from South America zone first?

Yeah thankfully, otherwise we would be seeing New Zealand and probably the Solomon Islands at the World Cup. The 3rd round is a done deal though, so Tuesday is meaningless.

All those teams would still be better than Iceland though

Thought it was just England who underestimated the quality of Iceland!
