    Newcastle getting a ladies team back for next year, good to hear.
    Whilst I don't think it's anywhere near mens' standard currently, there's newt to say it won't be in the future

    I think they've done really well and we should be proud of them. The standard may not be the same as the men's game, but it is massively better than it was 20 years ago and improving all the time.

    that blonde lass from the north east c half , was outstanding . decent player her like .. they had chances . shot themselves in the foot , with that stupid second goal header .


    the left full back was crap for england and the little lass in the middle from stockton ( i think had a poor game ...


    but that steph houghton could stand proud , as she did not deserve to be on the losing side in my view .
