http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/zlatan-ibrahimovic-certain-hell-moving-7514367 Assuming he is not in total wage slut / pension mode, and with CL football next season, worth a cheeky punt ??
"He'd fall out with Poch in half a season." High maintenance, no doubt. But he is pure class (UEFA especially) , and assuming his wages were not a joke, he could be in attack more of an Edgar Davids / VDV than an Adebayor to the squad.
Carroll would need a booster seat when sat in the dugout in order to see anything. And him running round the technical area in suit and tie will look more like a schoolboy playing truant.
Where does this legend that Carroll is tiny come from? He is not even the shortest member of the squad according to the OS. The same height as Eriksen.
Mark Warburton has hinted he may be looking to make Dominic Ball's loan a permanent move. Trippier's shorter than Carroll is.
Took me 6 months before I could work again, bloody painful. I broke my leg just above the ankle and had to drive 6 hours though the rain forest on dirt roads in a landcruiser then walk up the steps on to a plane using a branch as a walking stick. Got half way up and the ligaments became detached and the bones and tried to exit the inside of my foot. The up-side of it was that spending 6 months at home with the missus resulted in my Avitar.
We're apparently on the verge of signing KV Mechelen's 15 year-old goalkeeper Jonathan De Bie: http://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20160321_02195431 A trip through the Google translate machine says this: His brother Jonathan be aiming for a transfer, he was barely sixteen and is considered one of the most promising Belgian goalkeepers. He is already youth international and tested previously at Liverpool and more recently with Tottenham. "The chances are that he will soon sign a contract with the Spurs," says the elder brother.
I wasn't sure that 'liking' this was quite the appropriate response. And tbh, I'm not sure what the appropriate response is. It was a remarkable comment though !
Tottenham are interested in 21-year-old French striker Sebastien Haller, who has scored 21 goals in 31 games for Dutch side FC Utrecht this season. (Voetbal International - in Dutch) Brilliant! Now every other club is going to be looking!
Me and CK (think it was CK lol) were speaking about him earlier in the season, looks a really good striker. Clinical finisher and young enough to accept a squad role for the time being.
Not as insightful as Cove but the Eredivisie is the only other league I take a keen interest in. Haller is a tall but quick target man, sort of plays similar to a young Thierry Henry, goal record is very impressive although like all Eredivisie strikers it's hit and miss when coming over to the Prem, for every van Nistlerooy there's an Afonso Alves.
Haller has been targetted by Ajax in the past week. The guy is hot and market value is through the roof because of a steady performance all year long. However, this is a typical case for: good enough for the Eredivisie, below average for Premier League. Verdict on rumour: Dismissed!
