We all know that we harldy ever do well in mid-week matches, never have and never will! As long as we can get a few faces in in the next week or so we can do it! Greening would do nicely, does he still look like a dirty Jesus?
I think its the manner of the draw which has left most a bit deflated. A 1-1, although disappointing, there wouldnt have been such negativity. And now the injuries are piling up.
If Konchesky is going to be out for a while, what are the chances of us finding another left back to bring in
I think the reason about the other night was more the fact that it felt like a loss. To have played as incredibly below-par as we did, and to have taken the lead 3 minutes into injury time, I just don't think we're used to seeing us concede late goal, and to have had so many chances to get rid of the ball leading up to it, only to conspire to let them equalise with basicaly the last action of the game. I can understand the worry as well. 2 very soft performances against teams who we could/should have beaten. But, on top of that, the injury list is worrying a lot of us too, with a pretty relentless schedule
I have no idea whats going on. I know a few Palace season ticket holders and they thought he was very good, although fitness was an issue and could not play more than a couple of games on the bounce but you would think he would be someone we would be calling upon? That said he obviously likes Lynch so it might just be he thinks Lynch is a better option on the bench than Bennett, but why then was he not the 7th sub on Tuesday?
Is Bennett injured? It does seem odd he hasn't figured at all. I thought he would be Bills type of player. I hope he gets a chance sometime soon.
