Don't know about you guys but I'm pretty much done with all the 'will he, wont he', 'he said, she said', 'tapping up', 'he wants to leave' speculation surrounding Sigurdsson, and therefore us, all damn summer. So, just for fun, and to get us talking about something else for a change, I thought I'd start a thread where we can playfully discuss the coming season by predicting who you think is going to win it, who'll qualify for CL and who is going to go down with Everton ha ha. To kick us off, here's my prediction of what the premier league table will look like at 20:00 on 13/05/2018 1. Manchester City (The £ they've spent they have to win it) 2. Chelsea (To win three times on the trot is just plain selfish) 3. Manchester Utd (They'll try but they don't have the guns) 4. Arsenal (Will fall into 4th due to others failing to get there) ========= 5. Spurs (Only because they're playing their home games at Wemberley) 6. West Ham (Looking good. Loaned Joe Hart, bought Arnautovic and stole Chicharito for £16M) 7. Liverpool (Its where they are right now) 8. Everton (Its where they'll end up due to Euro strain) 9. WBA (9/10/11 this is where they live) 10. The Mighty Swans (I'm being modest I actually think we'll finish 9th ) ------------ 11. Leicester (Its all going to fall apart when Vardey leaves them in January 2018) 12. Bournemouth (Will find it tough due to small squad and no finances) 13. Stoke (Don't see them creating enough post Arnautovich) 14. Newcastle (Relegation? nah! I like the Magpies and their fans are great) 15. Crystal Palace (Not sure about de Boer, plays a friendly and has started moaning already) 16. Southampton (Can't continue losing star players, Virgil van Dijks' off next. That's got to hurt) 17. Burnley (Coz I like Sean Dyche, otherwise swap with Brighton) ========= 18. Brighton (I hope I'm wrong, I'd love them to survive) 19. Watford (Danced with the Devil for too long, time to go) 20. Huddersfield (Just can't see anything else) Well there you have it, Watford join 'one season wonders' Brighton and Huddersfield for the drop. What you think? Make your predictions and lets get talking football
Roque looks good, Abraham? watch this space and the rest of our activity pretty uninspiring. Agree re defence but only if Fernandez starts. If we start with Barkley then that move alone will dramatically improve our defence. I think he's a better than a lot are giving him credit for. Apparently, after another chat with my man on the beach, we are seeking out another CB and are currently looking at a couple. He didn't have any names for me though. We'll see how the transfer window pans out, think we got another 5 weeks left. As well as slagging off my predictions Dai how about making one of your own for discussion What is your prediction for Top 4 and which 2 clubs do you predict will join your annual favourite for relegation, us?
