My paternal grandfather who died when he was 45 and my dad was only 7. If it had to be someone famous, I would go for Martin Luther King.
The female one is Dame Ellen Macarthur.

Any of you lot. It would be good to put names to faces and lives.

Of the famous, all the usual suspects and some of the really evil scumbags that have run things. I find people like Hitler and Stalin hard to fathom. It would also be interesting to meet them when they were, say, 20 and much nearer the end of their lives.

Only one person for it really. Mau a Mexican I have lost touch with and used to live with in Japan.

Now, I speak Spanish and live here, but can not hunt him down despite trying....

My father. He had a very hard time as a youngster, and refused to talk about it. He died when I while still a teenager and it is only in the last ten years that I have been able to piece some of his life and family together. There are still lots of blanks that I would like to ask him about and would like him to fill those in.

I'm not usually mentioned in such exalted company, Charlie! Your grandfather sounds a real character and I think you should begin to write his story straight away. If you need any help editing, I'd be more than happy to help...
