Who do you (any of you from any club) think will go down this season ? I´m going to go for... Burnley Southampton Q.P.R "UTF"
Its impossible to say. There about 8 teams you can say for certain will stay up and 12 that you wouldnt be surprised if they went down
If there's any justice: Villa (for being s**te for years) Newcastle (for being so disorganised) QPR (for trying to buy success) But the harsh reality will probably be: Burnley (not invested enough) Hull (second season syndrome) West Brom/Southampton (can't pick - Southampton have been decimated but West Brom have been showing th signs of a club heading the wrong way)
Any three of this lot can go down, take your pick... Aston Villa Burnley Crystal Palace Hull Leicester Newcastle DQPR Southampton Stoke Sunderland Swansea West Brom West Ham
Hull - I think their Europa league commitments could potentially be their downfall. Villa - They've been riding their luck for the last couple of years, think this could be one season too far for them. Burnley
Burnley, because I don't think they've made the signings to stay up yet. Palace, because people keep banging on about Pulis never being relegated as if that grants immunity, when in fact their squad as it stands only has a smidgin of PL quality about it. One of Sunderland (they'll start **** and then sack Poyet), WBA or QPR. I think we'll both be safe.
In my dreams Chelski 3 times over. In reality Burnley, (would like to be proved wrong in this) QPR (Justice will catch up with them) and one of either Villa, WBA, Stoke City or Sunderland. I think Leicester will be mid table.
I think we will finish around 15th. (That would do me nicely) Bottom 3 ..... Crystal Palace WBA Burnley
Wouldn't you prefer nearer clubs to stay up for shorter away trips? With that in mind, Newcastle, Sunderland and Southampton would be nice!
... the romantic in me would like Burnley to survive (but not at our expense ) ... the realist in me thinks it will be tough for them given their 'relative' wealth etc ... but they have a potent young strike duo and if they can otherwise keep games tight they might surprise .... as to predicting 3 to go down ... I can't really do it with any confidence ... the more you try to analyse it the harder it gets .... e.g Villa 'should' struggle ... yet they have Vlaar, arguably the singularly most impressive defender at the World Cup ... and a fit Benteke / Agbonlahor front pairing? Southampton have been hung out to dry ... but they still have some terrific young talent Sunderland had an amazing run at the end of last season ... but can they begin in the same fashion ... O'Shea, Brown and Bardsley in defence? Palace pre Pulis looked doomed ... are they really THAT much better? The Dramas have an impressive list of names ... but most are past their 'best before' date and is Remy a longer term injury worry ... Will Hull suffer from second season syndrome?... Can Swansea survive without Michu AND Bony (if he goes)? West Brom ... stronger or weaker than last season? ... fooked if I know.... West Ham ... shambolic ... internal srife and a new stadium to boot... I really can't call it ... all I can say is that, personally, I'm haapy in our shoes ...
