I've gone for Cody, anyone scoring 20+ goals has to be in with a shout. I ruled out some as they've had long periods injured so could only be player of part of the season. Bayo would be another candidate for me with his hold play and layoff's.
Yeah It is like Spiller, I like him but he has missed 12 hopefully he is back tommorrow, he has a well good impact on the team also my favorite player is still Simon King but he is oviously not player of the year. Hopefully he can play soon, he could be good for us maybe revert to Left back replace Nutter, like Nutter but he is not up to the job, he can be **** sometimes.
Chesterfield goals conceded 41 Wycombe 44 Bury 40 Stevenage 34 Shrewsbury 44 Torquay 40 Rotherham 49 Gillingham 44 Our defense aren't the problem.
No I know that is amazing it isnt, So if we had played well in the first 18 and conceded less like not let in 7 at accrington we would have a well good record, all I am saying is the weak link of the team is Nutter or Jullian. Also King is our best player when he is fit and at his best so we would need to put him back in the team and the only one you could replace is Nutter and another good point is that King can play Left back. Lawrence has been good all season couldn't take him out the team or Richards respectivly, I am a big fan of him. We need a new Stopper next season definatly
Our weak area is midfield, all the teams above us score more goals from midfield. Close marking on Bayo and Cody and we struggle.
Yeah I know, you can see it when it is going bad, Spiller was good in midfield and Palmer seemed good but stats show when he got injured is when we picked up lol, It can't be his fault.
Yeah he was great, Lee wasn't bad either, Shame to see that Whelpdale can't get in the starting 11 such a good player like him.
Yeah, Don't know how we would have done without him, The type of player we have missed in the past mate, had few scorers, But they have not reached there full potensial due to not having a lynchpin.
Gotta be Cody for me. He may miss a few, but he has also got some vital ones as well. Special mention as well to Bayo who takes all the knocks and provides quality hold up play.
