Going back to the Alan Smith thing.

Leeds needed the money to stay afloat, so were willing to sell Smithy to the Mafia if the price was right.

Also Smithy donated his 1m signing fee back to Leeds Utd.

I was. This was also around the time when players loyalty was disappearing out the window due to the big pay days. Smith was one of the first to cash us in for a bigger pay day. No respect for him as with any of the others who did the same to be honest
