Ah..... OK a Cockroach is a person from that lowly place known as NSW and in approximately a couple of days they will be in for their annual embarrassment
Going back to the Alan Smith thing. Leeds needed the money to stay afloat, so were willing to sell Smithy to the Mafia if the price was right. Also Smithy donated his 1m signing fee back to Leeds Utd. Were people aware of this?
I'd take being a cockroach over a f**king cane toad any day. Same as I'd be a Lion over a surrender monkey.
I was. This was also around the time when players loyalty was disappearing out the window due to the big pay days. Smith was one of the first to cash us in for a bigger pay day. No respect for him as with any of the others who did the same to be honest
Howard Wilkinson for selling Cantona to Scum ... should have sold him to a French club Everton wanted Smith, but Scum bid £2m higher and the Leeds board told him he had to go because they had no choice but to accept the higher bid ... Smith did not go because he was chasing money, he went because he was forced to ... as a good Leeds lad, he waived his guaranteed £1m signing on fee that Leeds were obligated to pay him as he had not requested a transfer, rather giving the money to the club to help them ... nowhere near a traitor, just a loyal player who got caught up in Ridsdale's treachery Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
No the biggest Traitors are those who took and didn't give back. Wilko made a call but history found him out. Mia Culpa
