I thought Cardiff was the best team to visit us aswell, most of the teams who beat us at the KC were awful in my opinion and it sums up our season at home a lot really as it clearly means we were worse. How we failed to beat Leeds at home is a mystery too as their defence was like butter and their keeper kept them in it, however to be fair, they were disallowed a goal that crossed our line but we were still the better team I think, just as we were than most of the teams listed above that we drew with, such as QPR (just for Taraabt XD), Reading and Norwich.
Swansea by a country mile, never seen so much passes in my life. Watford iswell looked a very good outfit early on in the season, but I think that was just a one off..
Bit miffed that we're not on here, given that the majority of fans of at least three of the teams in the poll would say Watford.
1)Best - Swansea (deserved to beat us at Carrow Road, beat us at fortunately at their place although they did still play very well) 2)2nd Best - Cardiff (two very tough games) 3)3rd Best - Leeds (two very finely balanced and tight draws)
Got to go with Swansea home and away. There were teriffic I thought. QPR down here at Portman Rd were very good, as were our feathered friends (Home and away). Next year lets hope my team Ipswich make this poll. COYB
Definitely Cardiff. Beat us 2-0 twice and never looked like giving anything away. They're also the only team in the top 7 we lost against, so that says something.
Cardiff at the KC (although their team's wage bill is quite literally paid for them). Leicester were also impressive in Hull, but we were utterly s***e that day.
Swansea away for us and maybe Reading at home ...... though Reading were in their great run of form at that point.
ok - After 71 votes it is suprising (or is it?) that QPR, the Champions have just 5 votes. Does that suggest that although they were better than most teams when they played, they were not actually a better footballing side than the other top 4 or 5 teams? Swansea, Norwich, Cardiff & Watford seam to have more flare about their teams judging by most comments. Sorry Watford were not one of the choices, but as stated at the outset, the top 9 teams were selected as the choices purely from the league table.
I was impressed by Cardiff in both games, but then again they only got 1 point off us. Leeds were decent at LR but got abit lucky, didnt see the game at Elland Road
It doesn't surprise me mate, had it all season people saying we ain't the best side. Most effective and with the most BOTTLE though.
I'm going to quote Steve claridge now (so bear with me, he actually made a valid point) Like he said during a match this season that man for man there wasn't a great deal between the sides this season unlike the last couple of years where Newcastle and West Brom etc. clearly had better quality players, this then meant that better managers and key players in the right areas playing well were the difference, for example strikers scoring throughout the season. And I have to say (Although it hurts to do so) that Norwich have the best manager and as for best team to play at Portman Road? take your pick between Norwich, Reading, Watford and QPR although Swans were also a tidy outfit.
As far as nullifying as at Loftus road,Derby done a job on us.Leeds played well last game of the season and took 6 pts off us so has to be them.
