I'd like somebody that has managed in the premier league and has the ambition to get back there, a lot like when we got Bruce. They can attract players and it gives the whole club a premier league mentality which I think is important. Everyone knows that's the direction we are aiming for compared to if you get an up and coming manager who might not have the same pulling power or experience. Providing they're not called Alan Pardew, obviously.
"Slutsky's playing career ended at just 19 years of age. He had to retire due to a knee injury sustained after falling out of a tree while rescuing a neighbour's cat." That's a bad omen. For "falling out of a tree" read relegation to a lower division, and "while rescuing a neighbour's cat." means while trying to save a Tiger. You have been warned!! Seriously though, this bloke should be a strong contender based on his career so far. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonid_Slutsky_(football_coach)
The worrying thing from my point of view is it appears that Adkins only appears on betting to be city next manager, he does not appear on the betting of any other club looking for a new manager that i can see.
I really wouldn't worry about it. The Allams give nothing away. Going on past apptmts of Brucey and Silva.
Looking at the voting, the Monk is being chased by the Slut who is in turn being pursued by others. Can anyone else hear the Benny Hill music?
