With Cidered renewing his season ticket, Red Robin happy Let's start the transfer thread early and hopefully LJ and MA might do the same. O'Donnel Wilbs and Goldbourne we know are staying. Possible outs with other clubs looking around Flint who we know of interesting other clubs. Smith I would not be surprised has taken some managers eyes and might be tempted to put an offer in. Bryan lucky enough he's only cam good when Tomlin joined so hopefully no interest. Kodjia even though I think still needs a good preseason and next year and will be worth a fortune then. So keep at all cost to cash in if needed. Loans to go back Baker, Tomlin, Odenwingie and Mathews to me SL must at least try and move mountains to get these in to push forward next season. Players to possibly leave due to game time Williams, Ayling (not played since Cheltenham fiasco not even on the bench) Little, Frankie could leave to get first team games. Wagstaff out of contract even though I would offer him another plays in various positions and regardless what Redprint says I believe always gives 100%. So now looking at lot we need some more, so who do you all want?
At this point we can only really look at who from the squad should be released to allow room for the squad to be enhanced, to me the following seem likely to depart Williams Little Burns El Abd Wagstaff Pack Fielding Agard To be slightly controversial I would look at moving Freeman on as well, not sure he is strong enough at this level to be our playmaker. To early to gave a stab at the who's, but it would appear the where's in the squad are, CB RB Att Mid Right midfield Striker Backup keeper Backup LB
We don't have a large enough squad to start shipping everyone on. I believe that Williams, Fielding and Wagstaff will go. We'll sign Matthews, Odemwingie and Baker. Flint and Kodjia will end up joining premier league sides. I reckon we'll be linked in the papers with Matt Smith, Bradley Dack and Cody McDonald but we won't sign any of these
Its gonna be interesting this year. Don't think the club will get their hands burnt like last year, if we are genuinely thinking of competing at the right end next year we have to get more quality in and quickly this time. Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland in this division makes it very, very difficult. fans will need to adjust expectations accordingly. Need to keep, Flint Baker Korey Pack Ayling Matthews Kodjia Odemwingie Freeman Golbourne Tomlin And add to these if we're serious.
We need to sign Tomlin,Baker,Matthews. We need to bring in a replacement for pack who has improved. We need two quality strikers. Anybody that wishes to leave must go,we need 100% commitment. I believe Flint, and Kojak, will be here next year just a sneaky feeling. This will be LJ team next season, lets hope all the talk of a top six finish comes to frutation.
Would let go of Burns,Agard,Wagstaff,Williams and maybe Ayling. Tomlin is a must as is Matthews to sign. Still think we need a back up CM and 2 strikers. Wills will not feature regularly and Kodjia is too hit and miss for me. Baker would be a great addition too but I really don't think we will get him.
Soooooo you would say pack is good enough for a number one spot in midfield alongside Korey Smith, personaly think it is a position that requires a improvement.Yes he has improved but not to a level that will take us up a notch or two.
Woah woah ****ing woah!!!!! Who has been talking about top 6? I'll be happy with top half! Or is this your not so subtle way of saying you expect top 6 and if we don't get it LJ isn't good enough....
