Good question. Vanished during the election campaign and seems to have decided Not606 is too small and is taking the battle against Roland and Corbyn to twitter.
I hope he returns for the new season but hope is fading fast.

    He's done a Lord Lucan.
I haven't seen much of him on Twitter. Has he got a new identity? he was Henry Irving. One thing for sure, whatever name he posts under, there's no mistaking his style.

Since he "retired", Labour has surged ahead in the opinion polls. Co-incidence? I think not.

Be careful - you're still in his good books. You don't want to be accused of 'snide remarks'.

He must be buried under the landslide he predicted.

Mr van Gerwen is still alive.

I was chatting to him on the train to Beckenham last Wednesday.

Boxing 5 days a week and on a miserable diet. Haven't had a beer in almost 6 weeks now (vodka sodas are fine though).

Also hating this wedding season - at the age now where its a wedding nearly every week. Supporting a football club that has zero ambition sucks too.

Bit of Monday morning depression there! <laugh>

we got married at the end of may so we're recovering from that - meaning, we're not doing anything that costs money. it's worse than when i was a student.

have made some homebrew beer though.

A wonderful hobby, been doing it for about 40 yearsnow. I used to boil up the malt and hops but there are so many good kits now it's not worth the bother. Muntons are the best. I always keep 2 barrels on the go, and get a good pint for 40-60p depending on the quality. Cheers!

well, i bought all the kit because we moved into a house with a apple tree and thought i'd make cider. but the apples arent juicy enough so just ended up using it for beer. you can make a batch (40-50 bottles) for about £20. great for bbqs and that... on my third batch (ever). they come out ok - i drink it and i haven't died yet.

I have to recommend using barrels, there's nothing to beat it. Washing all those bottles was too much hassle. It has to be a pressure barrel with the tap near the top, and the beer comes from a float inside the barrel, which has to have a wide top so that you can clean the inside. Easy as making a pot of tea!

i use a pressure barrel, once the alcohol level goes right (about 4.4%) i put it in the bottles. i prime the bottles and then test weekly for fizz. there's not a whole lot to it, i think next year i'll up the budget from £20 to whatever the next level of product is. been buying the stuff from wilko but pretty sure you can get better(?).
