I do love a 'keeper with a good head.

When i was a kid at Ilderton Road, I was dropped from the school team for doing just that.

By all accounts the bloke the police were trying to nick was about 80 years old, going in heavy handed wasn't the brightest move and it clearly incensed the fans around to react like that.
I think next time they'll wait until he goes for a piss at half-time.<laugh>

yes the police should not try to knick a wall fan,its a silly thing to do to provoke a lion is dangerous, but to upset millwall normally ends in broken bones, they are the hardest men on planet earth
this is what ive tried to explain to the leeds fans without a police escort its suicide at the den,but they wont listen

    Birmingham v Leeds 1985
There would be more than one hundred arrests, about half of them made retrospectively. More than five hundred people were injured, including at least a hundred police officers.<whistle>

Never made too much news as it happened the same day as the Bradford fire.

tbh football was more fun then, standing, able to drink, able to smoke, no plastics, no pamper tv, no technology, I loved it, football has become too sterile now.
