What's been your best Manchester United moment of 2016 ?

There's so many to choose from, Here are my picks -

1. The appointment of Jose Mourinho - I've wanted him to become our manager for a long time, We're playinbg better football under him, he's a winner, I'm glad we've got him as our manager, he has my support.

2. Winning the FA Cup - before we won it in May, we hadn't of won it since 2004 which is long for a club of size, I was so happy when Jesse Lingard won it for us in May with a great volley into the top corner, It was a huge goal for us, considering we were down to 10 men, That's the only positive I'll take from the Louis Van Gaal era, I'm grateful to him for winning the FA Cup.

3. Beating Arsenal at Old Trafford - We were written off by a lot of people before the game, Most pundits went for an Arsenal win, we also had to play Michael Carrick in defence due to injuries to Chris Smalling and Phil Jones, I thought he was fantastic in that game, It was also the game that Marcus Rashford came to everyone's attention.

4.- Signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic - I was desperate for us to sign him on a free transfer, I thought he'd have a Eric Cantona type effect at the club and it looks like he's having that at the moment, 14 goals in all competitions, not bad for a ''past it'' 35 years old striker.

 

This, obvs!!!

 

our first trophy since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as well, To have won the FA Cup with 10 men was special.

 

Not wumming Matth but I don't know how you can argue Ibrahimovic is having a Cantona-esque effect when you're mostly playing crap and miles off the pace in the league.

 

So many to choose from?

FA Cup win.
Followed by the Europa League final.
And then Van Gaal's sacking.

All inside a week as well iirc.

Europa final. Well in the way to a victory and a CL place, the RS collapsed and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory Almost as good as that slip against the chavs followed by that draw against palace in 2014

I misread that. I thought you said the best moment of 2016 was "LFC's loss against the chavs followed by that draw against palace in 2014"


To be fair, the Palace draw still feels very good.
