Certainly the beef and pickles, you might have to "wing it" a bit on the mash though <laugh>

    Sam Smiths!!!

You ever been in Sinclair's Oyster bar? Famous for its cheap pints of Sam Smiths, spent some great afternoons there sat outside. At both locations!

Yes. I used to work near there. They moved the whole boozer once, didn't they. Quite a feat.

Not for many many years. Only went there once - never a fan of oysters, although the beer was good. The Malt Shovels in Alty was my preference for Sam Smiths back when I still lived there, but haven't been there for a while either tbh.

Yeah, the area at the end of Deansgate with Harvey Nicks and the national football museum all got developed and Sinclairs got rebuilt brick by brick from its previous location to the new square there.

Cracking boozer, really cheap. Must make enough money during the Christmas markets to keep them going all year!

That's it, Blighty seems well and truly fu**ed so the time has come to say goodbye to the UK and live permanently here in Menorca. Hopefully I will make it back over for a couple of games each season, probably a Christmas game and one around Easter, so I might be on here blagging for last minute tickets. Good luck Britons.

Going out with some of the fam for a little birthday meal, 28 years young today. Debating between an American diner or a Toby Carvery. Leaning more towards a carvery I think, ****ing love that ****.

Got this pepper chicken crown thing with a load of root veg. A one tray roast.

Will eat the lot, washed down by a bottle of yellow tail shiraz that a kindly supplier gave me today.

Got an hour to wait still for it to cook though. Was going to go up the range but can't be arsed.

Good idea to put this on the PL board as ours is littered with cobwebs and tumbleweed at the moment.

I've stopped drinking in the week, well mostly. I had one glass of wine last night and that's all so far this week.

I was thinking the same, there have been a few cooking threads on there and they are always popular.
