There's an Asda opened next door to where I'm working and it has some very good beer and ale offers.

Some of the ales are 4 for a fiver, which beats Tesco currently. Didn't spot those but didn't really look, the place is roofed out with window lickers.

    Chief's in Asda.

    This could be problematic.

So far the only eye catcher in Asda is Bath Ales at 4 for a fiver.

Bath Gem is up there with TT Landlord as one of the very finest ales you can buy. Barnsey not far behind.

Besides that, I'll be sticking with Tesco in this town (which is not where I live) , even though I have to drive a bit.

    Booze that's what I'm having.

Have had two diazepam. I'm on my third pint of lowenbrau, two chasers of bourbon and am about to have a tequila. Should settle the nerves.

    What??

I'm about to board a plane. I hate flying. This is standard operating procedure for getting on a plane.

    Oh, right.

Couldn't someone just slip a sleeping pill into a glass of milk?

Went out and got a Thai take away.

Had deep fried salmon fillet in a spicy red curry, she had chicken massaman.

It was ok but I can do way, way better myself.

    Currently sipping a Brakspeare Gold.

Salmon curry? I've not heard of that tbh. Can't imagine how salmon lends itself to curry.

It was nice. You never had a fish curry?

It's fish in curry man. An Asian staple really.

I have Chief! But usually it's white fish or grey e.g. rohu or something similar to mackerel.

Salmon has a distinctly different flavour. I'd like to give it a go out of curiosity but I can't stand salmon.
