A lot of us have criticised Pulis for not picking the strongest XI week in week out, I just thought I'd get people's opinions on what they think our strongest XI is. I've struggled to name an XI, I can only name 10 for sure. I'm really struggling on left back as both are very good centre halves but don't seem comfortable at left back, but are still better options than Pugh in that position. Begovic Wilkinson-Huth-Shawcross-Higginbotham/Collins Pennant-Wilson-Whitehead-Etherington Carew-Jones As much as I dislike Jones I still think he's a better option than Walters (better finisher than Jones in my opinion but Jones has more skill when he's arsed to show it), Fuller (not effective from the start anymore) and Mama.
Not much difference Prefer Sorenson in goal but little difference in quality between them. Went for Wilson instead of Whelan who personally is decent but has played rarely which does not help a[layer to get any consistency Sorenson Wilkinson Huth Shawcross Higgy Etherington Wilson Whitehead Pennant Jones Carew
I'd go for pretty much the same, I'd have Wilson and Whelan both fighting for the same place, I'd like to see them both but I think we need Whitehead in the team. We definitely need Matty and Pennant out wide, and then Fuller off the bench to replace one whichever target man is looking most tired.
Begovic Wilkinson-Huth-Shawcross-Higginbotham/Collins Pennant-Wilson-Whitehead-Etherington Carew- ??? Do i choose Walters/Jones, based on work rate attitude i'll take Walters but would rather have Fuller as he was two seasons ago
