Last night we cooked Crab and Chilli linguine, was very nice.

At the moment slow cooking in the oven is another new recipe off Goodfood. Chorizo, Pork Belly and Chickpea Casserole.

    Smells amazing!!

My gf just cooked me the most amazing slow roast beef with roasties, yorkies, stuffing, veg, gravy. I'm so stuffed, but I wouldn't take it back!

Thanks Cromer - there was an article on it in the EDP a couple of months ago and I've been meaning to try it out.

I wandered past (and peered intently through the huge windows) of Turtle Bay Caribbean restaurant at the bottom of Swan Lane earlier. Looks impressive decor wise.
Anyone been and tried the goat curry, etc?
Most mains around a tenner - but so was Wagamamas and I wasn't over the moon with that.

If it's anything like the Turtle Bay near me, it's mainly a place people go to drink copious cocktails during their happy hour. Never actually eaten there though.

I've been to the nottingham one, once. I had a spice fish dish, it was pretty good. It's not really the Mrs cup of tea so that work outing has been the only visit so far. Worth a try for something different. That said, whilst not there, my experience of Caribbean goat curry is that they should leave it to the Indians or Thais

    Bah!
