Simple choice, you want him to stay or leave. Has he done enough to convince you that he's still got it or that we need a fresh new start.

    This poll is totally anonymous.

Wenger not to be offered a contract extension at this present time. If he lands us the prem or cl he gets an extension

Not just the summer but overall. Is he good enough or past it? Will he ever be good enough to win the highest honours or will it only get worse.

Fair enough mate. I think a lot of anti-Wenger stuff has spilled over to disrespect, rubbing a lot of people the wrong way leading them to back Wenger. I can understand that as he's done so much for us. But it would be good to get an objective assessment on whether us fans on this forum want him to stay or not.

We need to get back to talking about Arsenal and supporting them. This forum has descended into Wenger, Wenger and Wenger. I think we are the most obsessed when it comes with our manage, i don't think any others talk as much about theirs as much as us. Though i can imagine, Manure talk about LvG in less than pleasant ways....

Even failing to win the big trophies, you at least want to see some kind of progress and ambition. I'm not seeing much of either from Wenger at the moment.. Another transfer window of thinking we can get anywhere with Giroud and Walcott as strikers and no physical CB and I think I've had enough

No one has a right to win trophies. It is about the effort, desire and ambition to win trophies that is lacking. How many times have we watched a game and come out thinking "they couldn't be bothered. They weren't up for it". A lot of lethargic performances. They players are there. The quality is there. Motivation is questionable.

I am sure that when Wenger decides to leave the post, his successor will be a very capable and independently-minded person. My hunch, Patrick Viera!!! Failing that Zidane when Perez gets fed up with him for not winning La Liga and/or CL.

It depends who they can line up as a replacement.

Most of the names that get thrown about would be a step backwards. I don't want an ex player with no experience - that could be a major disaster.

Peps at City, Klopps at Liverpool, Conte is at Chelsea.. there's not a lot of options IMO.

Patrick Viera, a backward step? I think he would be immense should he be in the process of being lined up to replace Arsene.

Why would you think that? I really don't understand why people think players are going to be good managers. The two skills are not remotely transferable.

He's just started his first managerial job. I wouldn't want him anywhere near arsenal until he has proven himself at a lower level.

I can see where you are coming from and maybe you are referring to managers like Ferguson, Wenger and past ones like Clough and Shankly who served lesser clubs before getting the top appointment. However, we have guys like Simeone, Zidane, Enrique, Guadiola who had very little time between the end of their playing careers and starting managing at the top level. As for Viera, he is a very articulate man, who would inspire players by the example that he sets himself. If he is given the right tools, he will be successful. If Koeman is headhunted in the summer, I would be very happy for Southampton to get Viera, so maybe that would be a good place to serve an apprenticeship before the "big one"

When wenger does retire I'd like to see bergkamp involved at some level. I'm not sure he's ready to make to big step up to manage a club like Arsenal yet though.
