To give Marco Silva and his staff a proper Hull welcome the match against Bournemouth is designated the official Welcome to Hull City day. Similar rules apply to the previous Hull City Day: Hull City flags, scarves, shirts and banners required to make sure the world knows our name "Welcome to Hull City" flags and banners would be appreciated where possible supporters should stand and sing for the whole 90 minutes if standing isn't possible please sit and sing stay till the end and applaud our team off the pitch whatever the result no booing of the team or fellow supporters no moaning when passes go astray Please circulate widely so that we show the world we are Hull City and we support our team. I heard some people objected to the Hull City Day. They said they didn't need telling how to support their team. I'd like to make it clear that this message doesn't apply to them and my apologies to any slight felt.
I am sorry, but the last point will be very hard to follow. Sometimes the highlight of my match day experience is having a good moan about passes going astray, the community spirit that comes with a good loud shared moan can equal any cheer. It is an art form, that is only surpassed but a well formed "Tut"
I like it that Obi is in charge of deciding what day it is (I've just read that back and it sounds sarcastic...it genuinely isn't!) I was out of the country for Hull City Day, although I hear the atmosphere was good I am looking forward to WTHCD
The £12 I paid will make all the difference to a multi millionaire. I like to think the support I and others gave to the team was worth more then that.
I'm not prepared to contribute 1p towards the Allams' various immoral legal battles. As you're usually one of those defending them of course it wouldn't matter to you. Others who don't go to home games will have their own levels of principle.
My money paid out on home matchdays is spent on Robert Snodgrass's pre-match Haribo habit. I didn't tick the "fund legal battles" box so I think I'm safe.
I disagree with pretty much everything the Allams have done, that includes sacking Phelan, however, I think we have to get behind our team. We need a miracle to stay up, and we really need to play our part. We need to make it an intimidating atmosphere, we need as many wrong decisions from the ref in our favour as possible as realistically we are one of the worst three teams in the division. I dislike the Allams and the way the club is being run but for 90 minutes each week until the end of the season we need to get behind them. As if we get relegated I really fear for us.
Yes, and I have done. If it's already paid for and they're not getting any money from me going, why not?
