A good start to the season for him would be around 10-15 goals and 5-10 assists. Anything above 20 goals would be a very good season for his quality, as he isn't expected to do so well. For him to do a Vardy he would need the right conditions to do it and I'm not convinced that he could with our style of play.
I think he'll get 10 goals in 30 odd appearances. I think he'll take some time to adapt to the Premier League, unfortunately. he may struggle to cope with the physicality as well. Anything more than 15 goals and he'll have done magnificently.
What surprised me was Wenger said he only recently became a striker, whereas Perez himself said he was a striker for the most of his career. Something lost either in translation or in our recruiting process.
Looks a bit of a prick to be honest. You might not have the Costa exemption from ever being booked and if he plays those sort of games (the provocation, the winding up) he could get found out. Didn't look too popular with his team mates either.
I can not say I liked what I saw tbh, but I saw nothing that would have merited a card or even a caution in EPL. A bit of passion and aggression playing against bigger teams will not go amiss tbh even though it might look a bit ugly. Many fans will welcome it. Interesting that all our major signings - Xhaka, Perez and Mustafi - are quite aggressive players, looks like Wenger is aware of the "softness" problem.
