Thats very harsh, but is anyone suprised that a fairly innocuous injury results in almost a whole season (and international tournament) out

Shame to hear, as he was looking like a decent fit in our front three and has scored some big goals for us this season, despite only coming back in the turn of the year. Must be extremely frustrating for him and for the club.

The only good thing about this news is that Wenger may actually try and get a striker now. I think I will lose it if we have Giroud as first-choice for yet another season.

Also this is a bloke that hardly ever got injured at Man Utd, come here and picks up two serious knee injuries in such a short space of time.

Yeah... But that's a more an indictment of the quality of the England football team.

Crap luck on him, second long term injury in a year or so...always comes across as an ok bloke.

Big blow for England, he has been one of our better players over the last couple of years and certainly the biggest goal threat.

Sad news for the lad. Always gives so much for club and country. He is a good player to have as he always puts so much effort on the pitch, with the right attitude.
