Anybody here use these injections that remove your appetite for weight loss? Working on a site today and 3 of the lads use them, all lost 4/5 stone in a few months and visibly look miles different . I’m dieting the old fashioned way with calorie control and it’s working slowly , but only at rate of 1-2 pound a week , and I’ve lost approx 1.5 stone in 3 months ,; ( took Xmas hit ) tempted to give these injections a go to help things along a bit . I’m pretty sure they are legal , I’m just a bit uneasy about buying things to inject off the internet , I’m not overweight enough to get a doctor to prescribe them, they are pretty pricey too .
Sounds like you're doing a good job yourself and taking weight off at a reasonable rate...Why run the risk of doing something that could potentially harm you? Keep going the way you have been, great effort
Cheers Ric, it’s just hard work sometimes - this week was back on my salads for dinner and really hoped after Xmas binge, it would be a good week of 2/3 pounds off now ive cut the crap again and it was only 1 pound so a bit disheartening , haha , but I keep saying a pound a week over a year is a lot of weight I suppose .
My partner used them and lost a good amount of weight. They suppress your appetite and you need to be over a certain BMI to use them. She didn't have one in December so will start again this month on the lowest dose. I will have to find out which she used but each month as the dose goes up so does the price. Last one was nearly £200 I think
I know people who have and it's worked for them, but if you don't actually change your eating habits and exercise you will just put it all back on once you stop them, as people I've known have found out......they do work though
Fatties shouldnt be able to cheat!! I bet though 2/3rds of people who use them In 5 years Put all the weight back on Id bet on it
I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure I've read it's far better to lose weight gradually as opposed to rapidly. If you're losing 1 or 2 lbs a week, that's a really good return and there's no need to go paying for injections or buying them off the internet when it could be anything your pumping into your veins...
There’s side effects to most medications Not heard of anyone on them but if it sounds too good to be true….
Exactly All they do is supress the hormones to not feel hungry in basic terms What about when they stop? And what long term side effects lol Its meant for diabetes
I am lucky as everyday is active. According to my fitbit I usually burn 3500 plus calories on a daily basis.
They definitely stop people wanting food, someone I know who is currently taking them, was a huge eater but now he hardly eats a thing, he said his mind just never even thinks about food anymore, when he does eat he doesn't feel hungry again for 24hrs plus and he also eats a much smaller portion size
It sounds like you are doing it the right way ...and making great progress. One pound a week is near enough 4 stone in only one year. Long term success, which is what you surely want, only comes from lifestyle change (& discipline), not from unnatural quick fixes. As a break from salads, maybe take a look at Huel.
And when he stops What does he do when those feelings comes back If you dont deal with the mental addiction to eating(and thats what it is) its a very easy addiction As we need food to survive Theyll quickly gain it back
To be fair I’ve got pretty good eating habits now, hence the slow losing of the weight , or certainly a lot better then I was, so the what happens when you stop doesn’t bother me. I guess I’m just trying to fast track my targets and cheat a bit . Should learn my lesson from Rocky 4 though , running in the mountains and chopping wood beats the fancy tech and Steroids, natural is best
It pisses me off how normalized steroids and other ped are in hollywood And it leads to regular people doing them People legit think the rock is natural
Exactly.... His doctor has advised him to stay on a maintenance dose when he's at a healthy weight. But as you've said, who knows what that'll do long term
Its a mega long topic But it leads to normal lads doing them at age 16 etc The amount of muscle you can gain naturally is just not even close to what celebrities and actors have etc
