I really am not. If you check out the pedigrees the family of the Prescott horse are consistently better than anything else in the field. Been crying out for a trip too!
Her two foals with form thus far have peaked at 88 and 74, three of Alvaritas offspring are 100+ with a fourth at 95
Alabaster looks like a typical Prescott type stepping up in trip. Like the look of that too. Will have a good dabble on it as a single. Along with: Timoteo. 2.45 Doncaster. Has my eye on this fella and had a punt last time out on it. Looked to be full of running in the closing stages and thought it was home and hosed, but seemed to wander and tire in the last furlong. I think it's coming to hand and the better ground may suit. not sure the top one is worthy of favouritism carrying the penalty, but the Henderson horse looks a likely improver although looked a bit sketchy over the obstacles lto. Just had a blast at 3/1 with Skybet and wouldn't be surprised if this one shortened up or even go of favourite. Will have a double with Sticks selection because if you see the words "Stick" and "wheelbarrow" on the same page it usually means WINNER!!!!!
Managed to get a wee bit of signal this morning for the racing . But after yesterdays poor show i am glad i went small stakes . Lingfield 255 tempuran 6/1 2pt win Ludlow 335 ultimatum du roy 9/1 1pt win Doncaster 345 blue cascade 9/1 1pt win Kempton 645 darebin 7/2 2pt win Good luck all who play
I see that the forum’s 114th favourite horse, Rock On Barney, returns to the track very quickly this afternoon at Punchestown (3.30). The amateur saddle monkey who rode last time (and who I’d never heard of) has been axed and a professional will be employed this afternoon. Current quotes of 4/1 are woefully short though in a competitive 20 runner affair such as this heat. Stick, I see Mr Henderson's training establishment has had to be temporarily renamed 'Six Barrows'. Is that because you've borrowed one of his for this evening's punting?!? What, what ?!?
Now that’s a question and three-quarters. Would have to look them up in the ‘official forum ranking list’ (sponsored by Gaviscon) which is housed back at Chuckle Towers. Far too valuble a publication to bring to the Coalface. From memory though the likes of Binocular, Long Run, Tatatiano, Hardy Eustace, Arazi, George Washington, Minding and Zaynar are all contained within.
I see that old boy Tom Segal has given his latest ante-post advice (in today’s Weekender) - namely to back Might Bite at 33/1 for the King George VI Chase on St Stephen’s Day. I do agree with a lot of his remarks but the startling one is, and I quote, he believes 33/1 to be ‘at least 25 points too big’! Thoughts?!?
I'm not Stick and this is nowhere near as informed as he is but the word going around my work this afternoon is Charlie's Charm. Should be pointed out that this is not my normal tip guy giving me this but it's gone from 80s this morning to 16s
Nice one perfect gent gets up to win on the line, needed that one!Jamie Codd has a nice ride on Stooshie in the bumper.Alot of these havnt raced before so you would have to be cautious as a punter but ill be having a win bet 7/2
