    Happy Birthday red!!!

Here's hopefully a winner for you, should of posted this morning when i backed @ 25/1 but still a huge price at 12/1.

4 05 Lingfield - Aye Aye Skipper. It's got a mark of 47 which is ridiculous low as it is but take of Lulu's claim which is 5 or 7 and that is just ridiculous, should piss this race, the horse should be 60+ and Lulu is an excellent jockey. Expect it to win comfortably, only thing preventing it is my **** luck atm ( hopefully hit form at Cheltenham but this will hit in the meantime ).

12/1 for a horse who's potentially massively well in at the bottom of the handicap. Ridiculous price & i expect Lulu to bring home the bacon, can't believe i got the floating 25/1 earlier. Duly been well backed too

Treble strike should win the 2pm race too, good horse and ran well on the other sphere, Winston/Ivory both in cracking form & combine with this one. 10/1 is velly velly juicy

    Happy Birthday redcgull :emoticon-0166-cake:

Not much to aim at today, in finding you a suitable present, with both jumps cards looking like top of the market is strong in each race.
On the A/W there may be a couple worth looking at.
Lingfield 12.50 Swiss Cross - won on last 4 visits to the track, nice. ( my only bet of the day )
Kempton 4.50 Ertidaad - blinkers on, not fulfilled potential yet, Morris might help. ( if and only if there is a return from the above )

    Enjoy your wine!

Good luck all that take part today
( that's it for me this week )

Happy birthday red, surely your sister meant old twat? ;)

Stuck in a bar in Manchester airport drinking reassuringly expensive Stella having missed my Ryanair flight this morning due to multiple accidents on the M60. Insane number of people on the roads here, insane.

I'd love to understand your logic on AAS should be rated in the 60s. Interesting market move but it's rated that for a reason!

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Afternoon, crew. Happy Birthday Red, old boy.

Am very surprised to see that CHAMPERS ON ICE, who I thought ran a most eye-catching race at the weekend, has been dropped 3 lbs by the assessor and now sits on 143 – he evidently thought otherwise! I would imagine though that ‘Daddy’ Martin hasn’t heard news as good as this for yonks! This obviously now brings handicaps into the equation at the Festival (as well as the novice events like the NH Chase) and beyond. I still wonder, providing Champers On Ice can meet the entry requirements in time, if they will consider this terms Grand National.

My regular readers were Ebullient with a capital ‘E’ when KILCREA VALE won at Ludlow last month. I would expect more of the same today (2.40 Market Rasen) from a horse who did it very well that day and has an undoubted touch of class about him over fences. Also benefits from receiving weight from his main opponents today. Never heard of his trainer but Mr Google informs me that he’s a thoroughly good egg.

    Good luck, pilgrims.

Just to update on the wine a lovely Rioja thats becoming one of my favs at the mo. It's one if the best Rioja's ive had. Campo Veijo 2013, Garnacha grape. Full of red/blackberry flavour with a smooth long finish. Would be great with a stew and cheese... 8/10...
