    Bad news. I have searched high and low and cannot find my lucky flag. Been to our storage unit, looked around my office, turned the wardrobe upside down (well they are fitted, but you get what I mean). I have resigned myself to the fact that I will have to buy an new lucky flag at Wembley.

    Will there be Saints merch available at Wembley? I'd quite like to get my sprogs a hat or scarf or something, and I don't mean one of those half and half monstrosities.

    I'm sure there will be sellers outside - not official stuff though. Not sure what the rule is with flags and poles in the stadium?

    I'm stretched out on my hotel room bed which means that there's less than 24 hours to go until kick off. I arrived in Paddington at 4:30 exactly - it has to be an omen!

    I've just asked my lad if he realises how lucky he is. Two Wembley finals by the time he is sixteen and he'll have been to both. I scared him when I mentioned that if he has the same gap that I had to wait after 79, then he'll be 40. He went white.

    I've told him to make sure he soaks it all up and enjoy what is going to be a wonderful day!'

    Come on you Saints.
